Hello my 2000 Ford Windstar check engine light is on. The mechanic called and said there was no power to the plug they hook their computer too and were looking for the owners manual. They checked all the fuses that they new to check. Is there a hidden fusable link somewhere that they are missing? Thanks for the help!

They need to trace some wirings. They need to get the wiring diagram from their software.

The plug may be bad, power to it may be bad etc. I have seen the main wiring harness get corroded on these. It is on the firewall side of the motor. The violet wire is the one that goes to the pcm.
