2003 Ford Windstar Heater not working

Heater problem
2003 Ford Windstar V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 78908 miles

heater doesn't work. Banging sound coming from under dash . The pitch of the sound changes as I move the heat control from hot to cold. But still no heat at all . I bealaeve it is a problem with the control module but not sure what to do to check. I would be grateful for all help . Thank You .

I have the same problem with a 2003 Windstar It makes a clicking sound when the heat is on and blows cold air in the front. It sounds like it is coming from the plenum under the dash. If I select a certain heat range for the front slider, it will stop. Any clues?
