2002 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Okay so I drove it earlier in the day and everything was fine. Came home went to go out again and now the tail lights won't come on, the fuel warning light is on and I know the tank is close to half full and it wont shift out of park. Have not had any issues with it before now.

So it definatly was the fuse. But now the fuse keeps blowing. Its the fuse for the brake shift interlock solenoid.
I have never dealt with it before so was looking for suggestions

Sorry for the delay but I am back

do me a favor
open hood and disconnect the switch on the master cylinder (cruise control brake switch )
its leaking brake fluid and need to be replaced with the wiring harness

ford had it on recall you may wont to check with them

you can unplug it set the wiring a harness aside and replace the fuse drive the truck and check with ford if not buy it and replace it with the wiring harness

All the same stuff that was originally wrong is still wrong. I actually found a thread on this site that people were dealing with the same issues with an older model but according to these posts we all have a rear electronic module behind the jack compartment. Gonna go check that out in the morning. Seems like it might be hard to track one down unless I wanna give ford $350 or better
