Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 115000 miles

Car jerks or bucks going uphill (does not have to be a steep hill) at a steady speed. Can accelerate past it and it runs OK. Hard acceleration seems to be OK also. Have replaced plug, wires, fuel filter, 2 upstream O2 sensors, checked air filter, fuel pump pressure, cleaned throttle body and mass air flow sensor, also replaced intake manifold gaskets. Running has improved but still have the jerk uphill. No lights are on.

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, bogging etc. Could be caused by one of the following below.

Inspect and test all the following listed below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
