I have a noise that is coming from the car's left front wheel area, which is a rotational noise that gets louder as I accelerate. At slower speeds you can hear a definite rotational noise with a pattern. As I accelerate the noise becomes a louder hum. I have replaced the tires, yesterday, but the noise is still there. I thought tires because my GY Allegra tires were dry-rotted and could have had a bad cord. This was not the problem. I had the car up on jack-stands and grabbed the tires and shook them up-down and side-to-side but no real play is in the front end. I grabbed the CV joint and tried to shake it but they are both solid. I put the car in Drive on the jack-stands and could hear the sound but can not determine where it is coming from. The sound sounds louder inside the van. Please help and thanks.
