1998 Ford Windstar headlights

My driver side headlight went out . So i bought both headlights and my fiance brother put them both in and my driver side is still out . What else would cause it not to work?

Windstar Wiring Diagram uses seperate fuses for the left / right headlights. Fuse #4 is LeftHand, Fuse #10 is RightHand.

Fuse Block is located on the driver's side dash, near the foot kick panel.
Perhaps the fuse is blown.

Check motorcraft.com and link "Technical Resources" in the red banner on top of the page. You can download the owner's manual in *.pdf format. Search for the fuses section to get a diagram and description of the fuseblocks.

Other than that, make sure you have a good ground connection to the light socket. Having a good ground is often an overlooked item. Yes, we have a 12-volt hot wire, but the current needs a circular current flow returning to the battery somehow. No ground = incomplete circuit = no bulb working.
