During the summer when weather is hot our Windstar will suddenly stall while driving. Fuel pump was replaced a few years ago. Testing of codes by the dealer recently showed "no codes" and that fuel pressure was o.k. After stalling and waiting 10 or more minutes it will start and run fine. If we try to start immediately after stalling the engine barely runs. Who would be able to diagnose this as the dealer was unable to?

Hello Steve I'm sorry i don't hav an answer for you but i was wondering if you figured out the problem, my 2000 is doing the exact same thing. I'm down here in tx working and the van finally died and wouldn't start any more. The dealer said bad fuel pump, so had it replaced. The van ran great for 7,000 miles for me is 3 wks. now problem is back fuel pump test ok still stalls in high heat days like 95 or higher this problem really sucks
