Sometimes, when coming to a stop, transmission shifts down harshly. Noticed that when I first start driving and engine is cool it does not do this. Tranny serviced regulary. Could I need a transmission reflashing? Or is the vss failing without registering a code. What do the experts think?

Hi
First testing is needed pressure test of line and governor pressure. Diagnostic scann done Of TCM and shift solenoids. Then results can be analized and diagnosis made. My first guess would be pressure loss due to worn seals and/or clutches.
Hope this helps
