I have a truck that we had to change the gear shifting shaft inside the steering column. After replacing this we tried to start the truck and she would not continue to run unless you kept your foot on accelorator. While driving and when you crank it, it will cut off. There is a strong smell of gas during this time. When you stop it will cut off. After cranking you have to keep your foot on the accelorator, cranking it about 10 to 12 times every morning before it will crank and run. Smelling gas very strong. Where do I start looking?
