1991 Ford Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Truck will not start, bought a book and put new spark plugs in put the wire on the right plug n set the timing and we have spark and smell gas but just will not turn over

Smelling gas-but is it making it into the cylinders-check the fuel pressure if its within specs and also if the injectos are pulsing if both okay-double check the ignition timing
