I have just aquired a 1990 ~ 34 foot class A motor home & I'm in need of a new "House Battery" I have been lead to beleive that 2 six volt golf cart batteries would be a better choice for the house battery than 1 twelve volt deep cycle battery ~~ ?? any thoughts would be helpful~~we do travel alot and end up sometimes for days without the RV being plugged into any electric ..

you could try the golf cart batteries wired in series to give you the 12 volts you need. But be aware if they are not deep cycle batteries they will have a quick failure rate. The deep cycle can take the constant charging and discharging.
