Hello, I own a 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX V8 4.6L

I recently drove down from Sacramento California, to San Francisco, on my way there, my check engine light came on, unfortunately, I was in no position to pull over, or stop. And everything seemed fine, no power loss, leaks, or anything suspicious.

Now, 3 weeks later, I have found that i'm having excess exhaust, color = white.

Every question previous to mine seemed to have other weird things going on, so I think I needed to ask for myself.

I haven’t gone to a mechanic yet, I was wondering if anyone could point me in a more directed area of diagnosis

How many mile??? If it's definately white, it's coolant,, added any lately to your radiator???,, give the exhaust a sniff, you'll most likely be able to smell the coolant... headgasket is probably blown,, check engine light could be anything, o2 sensor could have been coated with antifreeze, right now I would recommend calling a reliable repair shop, if you have one, if not call the local Ford dealer, tell them you want a leakdown test done, they'll know what to do, will confirm a headgasket issue... I would get it done asap, you don't want coolant somehow finding it's way into other areas, it'll trash your engine pretty quick.. I'm thinking I read something somewhere about gasket issues with these motors, not 100% on it though
