Transmission has problem finding and staying in high gear is it a switch or filter or does it need to be replaced

Being a v6 3.8 liter ford. Well most surely your trans is bad and needs rebuild. Those 3.8 motors and trans have a very bad rap. Fix it and sell it or get a stick shift if u dont want that prob again
