Transmission problem
1964 Ford Thunderbird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 89000 miles
When I put the car in reverse and start backing up the shifter falls into neutral.also it will come out of park into reverse by it self.Help

try adjusting the shifter rod to cure the park reverse problem. It should be adjusted to go into park more. If tis has a fordomatic trans there is a possibility that he centr case support cracked as this was a common prpoblem with them. If it is it can be fixed while in your car......
