Hi there. Wondering if anyone can help.

1992 Ford Tempo 2.3L Automatic

I have just recently noticed when my car is still cold, it has trouble shifting from one gear to the next, usually when I am on some sort of incline. I avoid steep hills, as it will only go about 20-30km max and takes forever to get up that hill. I especially notice it in the lower gears. Once I am on the highway, the problem seems to go away.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have someone scan it for you, trans codes might not set the check engine light, they'll be sitting there in the continous memory,, with any luck there'll be something there to point you in the right direction... most auto parts stores will scan for free, make sure you get the codes...
