I will get into my ford tempo and start it, sometimes it takes lots of tries, it will gurgle like its trying to start. Then, after driving for about ten minutes my engine light will come on..sometimes it dosent. Once the engine light comes on, i notice the idle will change a little, it becomes more uneven. i recently got my oxygen sensor replaced..i dont know what it could be...EGR valve?

when was the last tune-up. plugs and wires? what color are plug tips? fords are notorious for bad coil wires.how do internal cap posts look? are they caked with buildup? scrape it off! is the buildup centered? or of to 1 side? take the vacuum hose off the egr and plug it(hose). then drive test it.
