Engine Cooling problem
1993 Ford Tempo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic high miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
My Tempo is over heating. I haven't seen the fan cycle, so I'm thinking that is the problem. I thought I'd check for a blown fuse first, but I can't find one for the fan. Can you tell me where to look? Oh, by the way you can spin the fan by hand, so I don't think the fan motor itself is bad. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tim

Oh, by the way you can spin the fan by hand, so I don't think the fan motor itself is bad. You have to power it direct to confirm that-

Try the coolant temperature sensor and the temperature switch. Fan relays/computer
