Hi,

My tempo seems to start leaking antifreeze in cold temperature. I noticed this a few weeks ago and added more antifreeze to it. It then warmed up for about 2 weeks and there was no leaking and fluid did not seem to drop in the reserve. Yesterday it turned very cold again and this morning after my husband left with the car (because the minivan has no heat and it's
-26c) I noticed a puddle of antifreeze in my driveway once it started to warm up.

Could this be a hose and why does it only seem to happen when it gets really cold? I live in Canada and it's winter I have a lot of cold days left.

Thank You in advance.

-What's happening is that when it gets really cold, the hoses shrink a little bit causing the hose clamps to loosen just a bit. Even though the hoses shrink. It's still enough to allow some antifreeze to leak out. Have you hubby pop the hood, get either a screwdriver or an 8mm socket and ratchet, and tighten the clamps just a little bit more. Don't go crazy with a gorilla grip on them, just a little tweak should do. This should fix your leak instantly.
