Engine Mechanical problem

hello,
my Tempo wont start. It acts like it wants to start..but wont. According to my husband, it is not the timing chain as he had thought....and it definitely has spark. He sprayed starting fluid in the intake to rule out fuel system but it still wont start. Any suggestions sure would be so helpful.
When I turn the key to start it, I actually think it's going to start because it acts like it's going to, but it just doesn't. Thank you ..
also, where can I make a donation? I dont' see an area that tells where to send donations so I can get a guaranteed answer.
