Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Ford Tempo 4 cyl Automatic 130000 miles

i have already done a full tuneup on my 93 ford tempo but it still wont start i have checked that it is not a fuel related problem now i am thinking that it can be the timing chain that needs to be changed. is there anything else that can prevent my car from starting

so what is a full tuneup? and how did you determine that fuel is not the problem? if you have spark at the plugs and can inject gas into manifold an it wont fire then it could be something else. never seen a bad timing chain on a tempo with that low of mileage. i have 1 with 300k and the chain is fine and original. the engine is pretty worn out but still starts and runs and drives. when and why did it stop running in the first place?
