The a/c fan does not work there is a purple wire that I run a hot wire from the battery to where it go into the fan blower resister. This give me power to the control switch to regulate the fan speed. What cause the purple wire to lose it power source.

Thanks

Your description is a little confusing. Are you saying the blowermotor for the heater/air inside the car under glove box? And when you run hot wire to speed resistors everything works normally? You could loosen fuse box and look behind it for burnt out connection? Also the control button assembly on dash for burnt wire/connector. Turns out if fan is run on high too much these things are known to fail/melt!
