I can hear loud noise from the right side of the windshield similar to wind noise if you have your windows cracked a little for fresh air. The noise starts when I go past 20mph. It gets so loud when I am on the interstate.

Please help! Thanks in advance.

Does the inside of the windshield frost easily in cold weather? If so, it sounds like it is not sealed properly. If you are mechanically inclined, you could fix it yourself. Some auto parts stores sell automotive eurethane that is specially formulated for windows. You will need to take a razor or craft knife etc. And cut through the old eurethane that is holding the window in place and remove the windshield. Remove all excess and reapply with new. You don't want to get any of it on your hands though, it is VERY hard to take off.

Hello,
Yes, the windshield does frost easily in cold weather. I have called up the Ford Dealership who outsourced a company to install new windshields for a 2002 Ford Taurus recall which happened a few years back. The noise came about a few months ago and I keep telling the dealership the windshield was not sealed properly.

Can you tell me what it would cost to have it resealed at the glass shop? I don't feel comfortable doing this myself.

I don't really know how much it would cost for them to reseal it. The best thing to do would be to shop around. Go to as many places as you can and get estimates. I do all work on my cars myself, so I can't really tell you how much. But good luck.

Thank you. I will shop around and hopefully find an honest repair/glass shop. Seems like I always have bad luck when I need something repaired on my car. My dad does not like to go with me and I feel like I am getting cheated on the service and the price because I am a girl. Life stinks when it comes to auto repair for women. It is sad. We are all humans and we work hard for our money and to get ripped off, that is not good. Still I pray for those cheaters because one day they will meet their maker.

Take care.
