I have a 1993 Ford Taurus, it has about 110,000 miles. Yesterday it began to act a little wierd. It just felt a bit different when driving it. Then when I would come to a complete stop it seemed to shift itself into neutral, when I would go to give it gas, it would just sit there for a moment, then jerk (quite roughly) into gear and pop forward. Any suggestions?

Check the transmission fluid and also, if you haven't had the transmission serviced have that done and see if that takes care of it.

What exactly do you mean by transmission serviced?

Every 30,000 miles the transmission should have routine maintenance. The filter and some of the fluid is changed. They can do this at one of the quick oil change places.
