the radio comes on but their is no sound all the button work but the sound is not being heard over the speaker

Sounds like the Amp is the problem-it has to go thru there to get to the speakers.
I got one right now with a mazda radio fuse is good it comes on-but no sound from the speakers- but when you replace a blown fuse for the room fuse it gots sounds. My guess it powers the Amp-Check how your system is wired.
