What should it cost to replace a water pump on a 2000 Ford Taurus with the Duratec V6?

To do it yourself or to have a shop do it?

If you do it yourself for the part at autozone costs (depending on if yours is the DOHC or not) $35-50 and then it's just the time you put into it.

If you have a shop or dealership do it, they'll probably use genuine ford parts and charge you $60-70 for it and then whatever their labor is for maybe two to three hours.

That's why I do all my work myself :)
