Blower motor only works on high setting

I have a 03 ford taurus with 40k, last week the blower (fan) for heat/ac etc only works on the highest setting-nothing at all on the others. How can I fix this, thanks to all replies

Sounds like a bad switch to me. Change that and see what happens

Find the resistor and change it -the resistor's job is to control the speed setting by increasing/decreasing resistances to the blower motor.

This happened on my 90 wagon. There is a resistor pack that is attached to fan housing behind the glove box. One screw holds this plastic housing in place. You will find three coils of bare wire, and one small resistor. Test the small encased resistor with a meter, and if it measures mega ohms it is open. Buy a replacement resistor pack.
