I bought a beautiful 94 ford taurus loaded, almost everything works. I cannot figure out the power door locks. I did not get a keyless entry remote for the vehicle at the time I bought it. The power door locks from the driver or passenger side do not work. I have checked the fuses and the switch does work it was checked by meter but don't know where to check now. Didn't know if there are relays to check and where they might be located. It makes it a little hard to get across the car to lock or unlock from drivers side with leg brace on. Any suggestions are appreciated. DeedleGizz

If the master switch is ok (drivers door) and you have checked the wires for continuity, then replace the actuator in the other door. Each door has its own actuator.

Hi, if your car has a key fob try turning the key in the ignition off and on 8 times. Don't turn the key all the way for the car to start. The locks should pop and down by themselves and then press any button the key fob a few times. I usually press the lock button.

Good luck.
