2004 Ford Taurus heat shield

Just changed plugs & wires & while changing them i knocked off this hest shield does any body know where it goes.if any body can help me would be great . thank you.i am adding pictures of heat shield may be some one knows where it goes. came off while changing plugs in back near firewall

Looks like the heat shield for the a/c evap case...put the flat side to firewall tie on with wire or a good glue'...

No it is not for that. It is for heat sensor on transmission right below plug # 1

Below #1 plug?
I see some type of sensor above #1 and #2 plug.
I do not see anywhere below where it might fit.
Does the intake manifold need to be removed to renstall it?
