Transmission problem
2002 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
A friend of mine has a 2002 Ford Taurus and is having some troubles with it. I drove the car and it has a lot of slip when starting out from a stop, in both drive and reverse. It takes a good 4-5 seconds for the vehicle to move after depressing the throttle. Once moving the vehicle responds fine from 2nd gear on. I have my ideas on what it could be but I need a second opinion on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
