Can smell gas near filler pipe but do not see any leaks anywhere. Stronger smell when tank is topped off. Any ideas ?

Best way to check for leak is to have it smoke tested
where they use a smoke machine to add smoke to the system and look for leaks
you mush have a check engine light on with an EVAP codes !!
