Well when I put my car in either; OD, D, 2, or R, when I give it gas my motor just REVS, and the speedometer moves with the TACH, and revs up aswell. Is my tranny blow? If I put it in Park, I have to push down my e-brake otherwise the car will roll. If the car is not all the way reved down, and you put it in park I hear I awfull grinding noise, which I think it coming from the front passenger side. Thanks in advance, hope you can Help

usually the boot rips on the cv joint and all the grease leaks out over time, then they finally break. usually you will hear a clicking noise when taking hard corners for a while before it breaks.

okay while last couple weeks its been squicking round corners come to think or it.........but having a bad CV makes the car rev like that........so you think I need CV and axle? Think by looking cv on passenger side is messed up.........didn't know have a cv boot broke would make the car rev the tach and speedo in gear it doesn't click into gear from park to D. what do CVs run? THANKS SO MUCH

for it not to lock in park and speedo still work the axle or cv joint must be broken. to fix replace the broken axle(it comes with 2 new cv joints) axles are very inexpensive. have it towed to your local garage, they will be able to tell in 30 seconds. very common. dont worry. trust me
