2002 Ford Taurus Car does not start

2002 Ford Taurus Two Wheel Drive Automatic 106000 miles

Last year 2009, I replaced the starter, spark plugs, alternator and purchased a new battery. Yesterday, the car would not start. I drive the car back and forth to school, from Michigan to Tennessee three times a year. What could the problem be this time, or how do I go about troubleshooting the problem? The battery is okay.

Well, does it make any type of noise when you try to start it, clicks, does it act like it wants to start?
