Have a 2001 Ford Taurus. Went over a curb with the right rear wheel and lost the transmition. Any suggestions?

driving over curb would indicate to me you would have had to hit the curb pretty hard. i doubt your shifter linkage came off, other than a bad transmission, you could have a front drive axle popped out of the transmission. *when your car is in drive and you put it back in park if it makes a loud clicking noise then i bet its your axle fell out. let us know

well the shifter will move into all positions but the transmition itself wont shift gear. When I take my foot off the brake the car roles freely but when i put it into park the tires wont move. It use to shift hard when I put it into gear now when I shift it throught the gears it doesnt do anything

if your car wont roll in park, and will roll in drive or reverse but not go anywhere then your transmission is no good.
