Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2001 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 111'00 miles

The boot is torn on my 2001 Taurus. Is it necessary to replace the entire shaft with the two boots? Any idea of the estimated cost and is a front end alignment necessary?

Hello,

No it is not necessary. However, I would recommend it it would reduce your labor costs. The C.V Axle should be less than $100 and yes I would suggest a front end alignment.
