2000 For Taurus Wagon is making a popping noise from the exhaust when driving and the OBD II indicator light (engine light) is on and staying on. I have replaced the gas with a higher quality and also check the gas cap. What could be the issue. The car is driving great and no problems with acceleration or de-acceleration. Other than the light on and the popping noise don't hear any other issues.
