I started up my car this morning and heard a chirp sound. The car started fine and idles fine, but if I put the car into any gear it doesnt do anything, I cannot drive except I can push my car as if it were in nuetral. I had my transmission fluid changed about 4 months ago.

How long has it been prior to the last fluid change. Why was it changed last time.

How is the level now?

How often has it been changed? (About 4-5 times by now hopefully.)

I am not certain as to how many times it has been changed as I have only owned it for about a year. This is partly the reason for the change and it was getting close to the 150000 mile mark. The level is good. I have been reading up and found that it could be sensor problem.

IT may be. I have seen ford transmission problems from lack of maintenance.

Check for codes and the will give insight to what is going on, then testing can start.

A low level will cause this.
