i have owned my taurus for 3 years and have put new struts, exaust, vacuum hose, coolant pipe, new transmission and recently had a tune up, replaced lower ball joints, transmission fluid change, oil change, replaced strut bar, and had the fuel injectors cleaned. i have to fill up every 200-220 miles. A mechanic said the only thing left to fix was the heat sensors. could this be the reason for the low gas mileage?
