Electrical problem
1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170k miles

Okay so heres the deal,
I have a 99 taurus and the fans arnt working.
I replaced the relay, and the fans came on but then shortly after stopped working again. I noticed the Low Coolant light is on, could this be my problem? I thought it was so i went for a search for it. I cant even see the radiator with out ripping off the whole front end of the damn car and it isnt on the splash tank. im guessing its on the top of the radiator but if it is, is it even replaceable?
I went to autozone and they dont even have the sensor on their list. They dont stock it. Which tells me that its embedded in the radiator. Could i just unplug this thing and go on my merry then?

Also any other possibilities for why the fans come on and off at what seems like at will would be nice to.
Thanks.

Low coolant light and or sensor will not stop the fans from working
have to have a coolant pressure test checking for leaks
if engine overheating and fans aren't coming on
have to check for the reason
check coolant sensor
check if fan motors any good

Well there isnt any leaks in the coolant system, when it does leak it comes out from under the cap on the reservoir tank. I got the fans to come on and off now regularly it seems. I replaced the relay and she seems to take right off, how ever my girlfriend said it was making the fizzing noise and leaking fluid from the reservoir tank again after I had just replaced it and had the fans going. We took the car out for a spin again though last night (this time I was with her) and we didnt seem to have any problems with it. Fans worked good, no leaks. I think she might be fine now, but im going im going to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the tips though!
Got any advice on why the wiper blades come on at random?
