FIRST SYMTON WAS THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS SQUEAKLING REALLY LOUD AND HAD AIR IN THE SYSTEM. I REPLACED THE PUMP AND GOT THE SAME THING HAPPENING. I CHECK THE LINES FOR BLOCKAGE WITH AIR AND FOUND NO RESTRICTONS. I THEN REPLACED THE RACK AND PINION. I STILL HAVE AIR IN THE SYSTEM AND HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING I KNOW TO BLEEDED THE SYSTEM OF AIR. THERE IS KNOW LEAKS. COULD THE AIR BE COMING FROM A LEAK IN THE HIGH PRESURE HOSE WITH NO LEAKING OF FLUID.

THEN STARTING THE CAR AND TURNING THE WHEELS WHILE THEY WERE OFF THE GROUND. I HAVE EVEN REPLACE THE PUMP AGAIN THING I GOT A BAD ONE. BUT AIR STILLIN SYSTEM.

YES, IT GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP AND THEN BACK DOWN WHEN TURNING. IT DOESN'T GO BACK TO THE POINT OF WHERE I STARTED. IT BLEEDS SOME OF THE AIR OUT AS YOUR TURN IT. THE AIR DOES NOT GO AWAY WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.
