1998 Ford Taurus electric fuel pump not working

I like some instructions of how to install a electric fuel pump on my 1998 ford Taurus 3.0

irst the wires and see if it gets power for 3-4 seconds when the key is turned on, if not, check the fuel pump relay first, it's in the power distribution box under the hood. Swap it with another one and check again, then inside the trunk, on the hinge make sure the inertia switch is pressed down, if after all this and a fuse check, you get power, use a floor jack, drain all but about one gallon out of the tank, support tank with jack, remove the two straps, partially lower tank, unplug all connections, lower tank, Use a spanner wrench or a hammer and brass puch to remove the lock ring, the pump assy will now come out, change the pump and reassemble.
