1997 Ford Taurus Window will not go up on driver side door

The window will not go up on the driver's side door of my 1997 taurus. I replaced the relay in the fuse panel, but it still doesn't work. I can use the driver's
door switches to make all the other windows in the car go down. I switched the wires for the driver's door front up, and the passenger door front up switches, and I could get the passenger side window to go up from the driver's side switch, but the dirver's side window wouldn't go up when I put that wire in the passenger side window up switch. Hope that makes sense.
