I have water in the transmission oil in my 97 ford taurus. How could I be getting coolant in my transmission. I can not find any drawing or diagrams to show me how or where the trans cooler is located or works? Any ideas? Is it inside the radiator?

The trans cooling lines run through a section of the radiator. If the two are mixing, the problem lies within the radiator. It will need replaced.

If you are getting coolant in the trans, have the entire system flushed.

Let me know if you have other questions.
