I own a 1997 ford taurus and its never had a problem till earlier this month. it shuts of by its self when im turning or when i come to a stop light. sometimes it even speeds up on its own. I took it to the ford dealer and they changed the transmision, but the problem continued. so i took it back ans theyve chenged it 4 times. I think they dont know what there doing because the same problem seems to get worse everytime i get it back. now it seems like my car is struggleing just to go 35mph. please help

Check the following below:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
