I have a 1996 Ford Taurus GL, with the 3.0 V6. The car will start normally in the morning, but if I shut the engine down after a little driving (once the engine warms up) it wont start again. The status lights on the dash come on, as do the radio and headlights, but the engine will just click quietly a couple of times (sounds like the click is coming from around the ignition coil). If we let the car sit and cool down for a couple of hours the engine will start again normally. Any ideas?
