Electrical problem
1995 Ford Taurus Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles

I've recently lost power to my tail lights and
the dash. I still have brake lights, signal lights, headlights. I checked the fuses inside and out. what else should I do and do you have an estimate on what it might cost to fix?

Thank you,
Lights out in Texas

Welcome to the forum, check fuse 15-- 10 amp, in interior fuse box, use testlite, that circuit goes hot when you turn on the headlamp switch. If that circuit isn't hot, check fuse 4-- 20 amp in same fuse box, should be hot all the time. Also, there is a headlamp fuse in the underhood fuse box, 60 amp I believe. Check for voltage on that fuse circuit also, hot all the time. Let us know what you find.

Could be a problem with headlamp switch?
