Just wondering if anyone could tip me on how to take the engine apart to repair the head gaskets in it? I think thats the problem thats causing my car to overheat. I have replaced the rad, and when I have the rad cap off and the car running at idle, I can see bubblings.

anyhelp would be greatly appreciated, im a amateur, ive only replace a rad so far. Never taken the engine apart but im prepared.

Hi there,

If you have never do this type of work before, I would highly recommend that you go get a work shop manual, this will give you all the information in a step by step guide with plenty of pics to assist you, also it will advise eon all tooling needed to do the job, with the heads off you will need to have both checked out by an automotive machinist as there can be hidden problems that will cause you headaches if they are not pick up and repaired with the heads removed.
