1992 Ford Taurus My 92 Taurus wont start?

1992 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

ok, we blew a head gasket, we replaced it and now the car wont start, I put it to t.D.C. Replaced the dist, it still wont start, any help here would be appreciated.

Engine no.1 piston at compression stroke/TDC did you align the cam and crank sprockets-also the rotor pointing to no. 1 cap tower when you replaced the distributor

Yes we did turn it toward the no.1 still no go.

Its suppose to be in the no.1 compression stroke, you dont' have this, it'll never start-Recheck it then get back
