I have a ford taurus, year 1992 (automatic) Sometimes when i pull out from a dead stop the car will completely shut off, I don't know what the problem is but it did it just recently when i stopped at a stop sign, i went to go and as soon as i let off the brake and went to press the gas pedal the car just completely died. After it wouldn't start up and drained the battery(ironically about 20 minutes later i got a jump just to roll up the windows because i thought the car was dead it started just fine and got me all the way back home) Any ideas of why it would just shut off like that when taking off from a dead stand still?
