Hi. I own a 1991 Ford Taurus Sho. Yesterday my decided to help me tossed a battery into my car. I thought it was the same battery I had been using and turns out it was not and the terminals were opposite and the cables were put on backwards. There was a lot of sparking and part of the wire from a fusible link blew out around where it connects to the starter solenoid. Afterwards the car wouldn't turn over and kept blowing the number 8 fuse. I replaced the blown part of the fusible link and the starter solenoid. The car will turn over but will not start. It's currently not getting any spark. All other systems are fully functional. Any ideas or help to what may be the cause would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
