1995 Ford Station Wagon crank position sensor

Computer problem
1995 Ford Station Wagon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 109,00 miles

i have a 1995 ford taurus wagon with a 3.8 liter engine. the car will crank but not startengine has no spark. .changed out rotor/cap/coil but no change. able to hear fuel pump running in the tank.this happened all of a sudden where it would not start. was told it may be the crank position sensor.where is it located on my car. or do you have any other ideas. thanks

The crank sensor could very well be the problem. It is located on the front cover near the cranksaft pulley. You will need to remove the drive belt to get to it.
